Bhuvneshwar Kumar started the proceedings in Zimbabwe’s innings in their final Super 12 Group 2 clash with a wicket-maiden to achieve the feat. In a fast-paced T20s, the Meerut Express has now recorded 10 maiden overs from 84 matches. He has scalped 89 wickets in the format from 2012 with the best bowling figures of 5/4. The premier India fast bowler has a decent economy rate of 6.93 in the format.

India fast bowling spearhead Bumrah, who missed out on the T20 World Cup 2022 due to an injury, is second on the list with nine maiden overs to his name. Incidentally, Ghulam Ahmadi of Germany is join-third on the list with eight maidens with Uganda’s Franco Nsubuga.

As far as the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 is concerned, Bhuvneshwar has not been amongst the wickets consistently as he picked up four wickets from five matches. But his knack to halt the flow of runs on a consistent basis has helped the Indian cricket team at the marquee event.
Overall, Sunil Narine has bowled most maidens in all T20s with 27 to his name. Shakib Al Hasan has 23 to his name with Samuel Badree third on the list with 21. Bhuvneshwar is joint third with 21 to his name, the most by an Indian. Bumrah meanwhile has 19 to his name and is sixth on the list.
