Why is Moist Esports skipping the GWB LAN event?
Moist Esports was recently invited to participate in the upcoming GWB LAN event. The event will be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Moist Esports had the opportunity to vie for the top spot and bag the $2 million prize pool. However, the organization has decided that they won’t be competing in the event.
Moist Esports will not be attending the GWB Lan in Saudi Arabia. To simply put it i will not be associating with a country that does not recognise LGBTQ+ people as human beings.

Moist Esports’ head Noah, took to Twitter to inform the fans about the decision. Saudi Arabia is one of the few countries that does not recognize the LGBTQ+ community. The gamer has cited this as the basic reason why he has decided to skip the GWB LAN event. Noah does not want to be associated with a nation or an organization that discriminates against the LGBTQ+ community.

Noah was supported by fellow teammate Rise who also took to social media to reveal his thoughts. Apparently, Rise wanted to attend the GWB LAN event. However, he changed his mind when he understood how much the decision meant to Noah and his morals. The gamer also extended his heartfelt apology to the fans who were expecting Moist Esport to feature during the event.
