UFC 292 by the Numbers: Here’s what you need to know about the Sterling vs O’Malley event

UFC 292 is another landmark event for the promotion. It is the 660th UFC event in the promotion’s history. In addition, UFC 292 is the 29th UFC event this year and we are only in August. This shows how much the UFC is spoiling their fans.

The two title fights on this card will be the 14th and 15th title fights in the UFC this year, including the BMF titles. In terms of PPV events, UFC 292 is the 10th PPV event. When we consider location, this is the 7th UFC event in Boston and the 7th in Massachusetts.

And finally, for the fighters, this will be Aljamain Sterling’s second PPV event, the first being his last fight. However, this is Sean O’Malley’s first PPV event in the UFC. Only time will tell if O’Malley will be able to handle the pressure.

Despite all these landmarks, the UFC only set up a 10-fight card. Which is not ideal given the huge roster they have. However, some of these fights could definitely make up for the lack of action on show.
