MMA Fans Let Down As Khamzat Chimaev’s Images From EA UFC 5 Goes Viral

The middleweight fight between emerging contender Khamzat Chimaev and former championship challenger Paulo Costa will serve as the card's co-headlining bout.

In the upcoming UFC 294, Khamzat Chimaev “Borz” is prepared to make a comeback. Who is his foe? Nobody else than Paulo Costa. These two fighters’ showdown is nothing less than a grudge match that began in 2022 after an altercation at the UFC Performance Institute. However, there is a digital peek that has fans excited prior to the octagon fight.

This month, EA Sports will release EA UFC 5, and to heighten anticipation, they have published a picture of Chimaev from the game. To put it mildly, the fan responses have been all over the place.

Although there is still a long way to go before UFC 284, which is scheduled for October 24 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, excitement for the event is already growing. The lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will defend his title against former champion Charles Oliveira in the main event, but the co-main event also deserves praise.

Fight fans have been impatiently expecting the upcoming EA UFC game for three long years since the release of EA UFC 4. UFC 5 promises major graphical improvements owing to the Frostbite engine, per EA’s Instagram post.  By comparing Khamzat Chimaev from UFC 4 and UFC 5 side by side, EA aimed to demonstrate the game’s advancements. They were disappointed to see that the audience wasn’t as enthusiastic.
