Miami GP Live Streaming: Formula 1 LIVE – FP1 and FP2 HIGHLIGHTS : The 2023 FIA Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix’s second free practise session saw Max Verstappen post the quickest time, however Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc’s crash late in the session put an end to running. Leclerc and his Ferrari teammate established the early pace, but Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and teammate Max Verstappen also posted times that were truly noteworthy, stopping the clock at 1:30.757 and 1:30.146, respectively.

Early P1 speeds were all recorded on medium compound Pirelli tyres, but Lando Norris of McLaren later appeared on soft tyres, and the British driver quickly rose to the top with a lap of 1:28.741. Fernando Alonso of the Aston Martin climbed up to P2 before being replaced by Sainz, but Norris’ pace was good enough to hold for a while.

Verstappen finally overcame the McLaren driver, with a time of 1:28.255. The winning time was then decreased to 1:27.930 as drivers started utilising longer runs.

Charles Leclerec Crashes – Miami GP

Leclerc’s crash at Turn 7 ten minutes before the session’s end raised the red flags. Five minutes were lost as a result of the event while the wrecked Ferrari was recovered. There were no appreciable improvements in lap times when running restarted; it was only done so that more laps could be completed on the harder compounds.

In back of Verstappen. Sainz came in second and Leclerc in third. At the session’s conclusion, Pérez was fourth, nearly a full second behind his teammate.

FP1 Highlights

Mercedes made a late dash to pick up 1 & 2 in the first practice session at the Miami Gp on Friday. George Russell topped teammate Lewis Hamilton despite missing most of the session due to a steering issue. Charles Leclerc was impressed and leapfrogged Max Verstappen to finish third. Earlier, Nico Hulkenberg had snatched the top spot but crashed into a wall on turn 3 prompting a red flag.

After an enthralling Drama at Baku, the F1 action moves to Miami for the second edition of the Miami Grand Prix. Last year’s debut race was a spectacle to behold, and this year’s event is expected to produce surprise and drama.

The Miami International Autodrome, located within the iconic Hard Rock Stadium, will host the Grand Prix for the second time, making Miami the eleventh different venue in the United States to host a Formula One race.
