MI vs SRH Highlights MI Won by 8 Wickets: Mumbai Indians thumped Sunrisers Hyderabad in their final group stage match of IPL 2023. Chasing 201 to win, MI never looked in trouble as the openers gave them a quick start. After the fall of Kishan, Cameron Green took over as he went on to smash his maiden IPL century. Earlier, SRH batters posted a decent total on the board thanks to fifties from their openers and some late blitz by Heinrich Klaasen and skipper Markram. With Gujarat Titans sealing a 6-wicket win later in the evening against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians have sealed the playoff spot. MI finished 4th on the Points Table.

Batting first, SRH tried yet another different opening combination but it paid dividends as both Mayank Agarwal and youngster Vivrant Sharma stroked fifties with the bat. However, after both batters fell, SRH lost momentum and could only post 200 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Markram and Heinrich Klaasen also made handy contributions with the bat.

Chasing 201 to win, MI came all guns blazing as Kishan took on the SRH bowlers. After he fell, Green got a promotion in the batting order and he completely took apart the Orange Army bowling line-up. With Green hitting boundaries, skipper Rohit also got some time to settle down. The senior Indian batter went on to stroke his second IPL 2023 fifty. On the other hand, Green smoked his maiden IPL century to help the five-time champions ensure a clinical victory over SRH.
