Coming in to bat at number four, after the wicket of Manish Pandey in the 14th over, Stoinis straightaway punished leg-spinner Murugan Ashwin with a big hit over long on fence. In fact, Ashwin bowled a googly but it was cleanly picked by the batsman as he hit the 104-metre six.
