Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul continued his dream run against the Mumbai Indians as he smashed a stunning century at the Brabourne Stadium on Saturday. Rahul who had five fifties against Mumbai before the game, took the attack to the struggling attack smashing them to all parts of the ground on a hot afternoon match.
KL Rahul built partnerships with ex-MI star Quinton de Kock and Manish Pandey, reaching his milestone in the penultimate over, with a fine cut short off Tymal Mills. Rahul remained unbeaten on 103 off just 60 balls, the second hundred and the highest score of IPL 2022.

KL Rahul also went past 3500 runs in the IPL, making him one of the most prolific run-getters in the competition’s history. The Lucknow Super Giants is the second fastest to get to the mark, after former Punjab Kings teammate Chris Gayle.
