IPL 2021 Fastest 50 – Kieron Pollard scores 50 in 17 balls in MI vs CSK match – Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard on Saturday continued his blistering form in the IPL 2021. He went on to smash the fastest fifty of IPL 2021. In his innings, he took just 17 balls and hammered CSK bowlers out of the park on multiple occasions with his clean hitting. He smashed as many 3 fours and 6 sixes to reach his half-century. Pollard went on to score unbeaten 87 runs off just 34 balls to help MI win the match off the last delivery by 4 wickets and complete their highest-ever run chase in IPL. MI went on to score 48 off the last 3 overs to register victory.

Pollard came in to bat at 81/3 in the 10th over and there was no looking back for the West Indies giant as he went all guns blazing against the likes of Lungi Ngidi, R Jadeja and Shardul Thakur. During his sensational innings, Kieron Pollard also shared an 89-run partnership for the 4th wicket and set up the game in favour of Mumbai Indians while chasing a mammoth target of 219 runs.
