Carlos Alcaraz headlines first quarter
World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz leads the draw in Acapulco Open. The Spaniard has so far remained unbeaten in the ATP Tour this year. He will begin his campaign in the Acapulco Open by facing USA’s McKenzie McDonald. The American made headlines earlier this year by defeating Rafael Nadal in the second round of the Australian Open.
Tommy Paul, who is the seventh seed is the only other seeded player in this quarter. Paul will be facing Emilio Gomez in the first round of the tournament. The quarter also has Americans Marcos Giron and Michael Mmoh. Both the players will face each other in the first round.
Daniel Altmaier and Brandon Nakashima are the other players in the quarter. They will begin their campaign in the tournament by facing each other.

After winning the Delray Beach Open, Taylor Fritz enters the Mexican Open as the third seed. The World No.7 will lead the third quarter of the draws. He will begin his campaign in the ATP 500 event by facing compatriot John Isner in the first round.
Frances Tiafoe, who is the sixth seed is the other seeded player in the quarter. He faces Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round. The quarter also has Denis Shapovalov and Miomir Kecmanovic and both the players are set to clash in a high-profile contest in the first round. Another American in Christopher Eubanks will face wildcard entrant Feliciano Lopez in the opening round.
Holger Rune and Cameron Norrie in third quarter
Teenager Holger Rune is the fourth seed and he leads the third quarter of the draws. Rune will be up against a challenge from Ben Shelton in the first round. Shelton reached the quarterfinals in the Australian Open earlier this year.
The quarter also has Cameron Norrie. The Briton is the fifth seed and he will face Adrian Mannarino in the opening round of the tournament. Matteo Berrettini will be another challenger in this section of the draw. The Italian will come up against Alex Molcan in his first match of the tournament. Nuno Borges will open his campaign against a qualifier.

Casper Ruud is all set to return to the tour after the Australian Open this year. The second seeded Ruud will begin his campaign by facing a qualifier in the first round.
Australia’s Alex de Minaur is the eighth seed and he also finds himself in this quarter. The Australian will face wildcard entrant Pacheco Mendez in the opening round of the contest. Oscar Otte and USA’s JJ Wolf are the other players in the quarter. Both the players will begin their campaign by facing a qualifier.
