Under FIFA regulations, Greenwood would be eligible to switch allegiance having been capped once by England. The FIFA rules suggest that players make switches if they have won three or fewer senior caps before the age of 21.
The Jamaica Football Federation secretary general Dennis Chung claimed last month that the Board will welcome Greenwood, should he decide to switch nationality, ‘I don’t think we will rule him out, but that is a decision that the coach will have to make.
