Maria Sharapova, 34, quit the sport last year but appeared in top shape while on vacation in Venice. The 2012 London Olympics medallist was seen chilling with her partner Gilkes and some friends on board a boat. She sported a crackling black bikini, which had the netizens in awe of her fitness. As per a report in The Sun, it is believed the Russian star is in Italy for the Venice Film Festival as she was recently spotted at a movie premiere on Thursday evening.

As per the same report, Sharapova began dating British businessman Gilkes in 2018 before the couple got engaged last December. She was previously engaged to Slovenian basketballer Sasha Vujacic and dated fellow tennis star Grigor Dimitrov between 2012 and 2015.
Maria Sharapova enjoyed a storied career after breaking through with a Gand Slam win at the age of 17 when she won at Wimbledon in 2004. The Russian ace won the US Open in 2006, the Australian Open in 2008 and completed the career Grand Slam at the French Open in 2012. He won another Roland Garros title in 2014, but her career was cut short by a spate of injuries which eventually forced her to call time on her 19-year-old career.
