Manny Pacquiao Lawsuit: Conor McGregor Mocks Boxing Legend for Being Ordered to Pay Over $8Million For Contract Breach, Fans React- ‘The Saudis Need to Get Pacquiao vs McGregor’Manny Pacquiao Lawsuit: Fans want a boxing match between Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao
In 2020, the stage got set for a legal showdown between Pacquiao, the pugilistic powerhouse, and Paradigm, the management company. It all started when Pacquiao inked a lucrative contract with Paradigm for two bouts, granting them exclusive rights. But alas, the once promising partnership soon devolved into a bitter feud as Paradigm accused Pacquiao of accepting a princely sum of $3.3 million and then going rogue, secretly negotiating fights without their knowledge and concealing a prior management deal.
After a lengthy legal battle, a California jury ruled in favor of Paradigm, awarding them $1.8 million in addition to the $3.3 million they’d already paid to Pacquiao. But that’s not all – the court also ordered Pacquiao to pay an additional 10% interest on the verdict going back three years, as well as $2 million in lawyer’s fees. So in total? Over $8 million.
Unsurprisingly, McGregor was quick to throw a few verbal jabs at his opponent on Twitter, writing, “And don’t let it happen again, MannyPacquiao.” After which fans wanted a boxing match between the two, with some calling for a settlement in court, while others suggested that the Saudis should step in to organize a Pacquiao vs. McGregor showdown.
Pacman vs Macman in the works? He couldn't settle it in court, time to settle in the squared circle?!

The Saudis need to get paquio vs McGregor on the fury/usky aj/wilder card. Should try to get ngannou vs Andy too. That's what boxing needs. A huge card with more than one interesting fight. The Saudis have the money to make it happen.

@TheNotoriousMMA @MannyPacquiao It’s obvious you two need to get into the ring. I’m half Filipino so I’d root for my man Manny…. Conor has grit though…. Would be an instant classic.

It’s unclear what the future holds for Pacquiao and McGregor, but one thing’s for sure – this legal battle has left a bitter taste in both parties’ mouths. And who knows? Maybe we’ll see these two go head-to-head in the ring after all. But for now, it looks like McGregor has come out on top in this round of the ongoing feud.
