Manchester United want to sign Antony and Antony wants to join Manchester United. The problem is that Ajax do not want to sell.
Antony has tried to force the Dutch club’s hand by refusing to train and, now, handing in an official transfer request. The Brazilian winger wants his future sorted out within the next few days.
Ajax have already rejected an offer of £72.3million last week. It is understood that it will take an offer of £84.5million to force the issue.

While a move for Gakpo isn’t fully off the table, the Athletic report that interest from Old Trafford has cooled after promising developments regarding Antony’s situation. Mirror Football understands that the Brazilian has handed in a transfer request at Ajax in a desperate bid to reunite with Ten Hag, who coached him for two years in Amsterdam.
