East Bengal Investments: The club had a bitter fallout with previous investors Sree Cement. Post that East Bengal has been in search for new backers.
The Kolkata giants were reportedly also in talks with Bashundhara group of Bangladesh.
Both the officials of East Bengal and Bashundhara groups came on record to suggest something is about to materialize.
However, nothing concrete has been agreed and no official confirmation among both the parties has surfaced.
