Man United Kits 2023/24: Man United have released their new Adidas away kit for the 2023/24 season. This time, the club made a return to vertical stripes. This away kit revived the iconic vertical stripes that were last seen 20 years ago.
Man United is known to make experiments with their kits. They changed strips in the beginning of the 20th century with different colours. When they launched away kits in the 1990s, they used green-and-gold and blue-and-white combinations.

For the new season 2023/24, Adidas have decided to craft a striped kit. They used colours which reflect the aesthetic of Manchester. The green colour reflects the urban architecture and the red lines on white stripes signify Manchester’s brickwork.
Adidas always use their trademark three stripes in their sports jersey as they did with Indian Cricket Team. They made Man United’s away kit beautiful with long-sleeved versions.
Adidas’ design director, Inigo Turner said: “We’re incredibly excited to return to a design that is fundamental to the heritage of this great club.
He also added, “Vertical stripes are in the DNA of Manchester United and we hope this bold new look captures the imaginations of fans as they travel the globe supporting the team. We have intentionally taken cues from the city itself, to provide both the players and travelling fans with a piece of home, wherever they are wearing it.”

Man United are on a pre-season tour and players will be seen in a new away outfit on Tuesday when they will face Wrexham in US. Meanwhile, fans can buy Man United away jerseys at United’s club stores and selected Adidas retail stores online.
Erik ten Hag’s side made a good start to their preparation for the new season. They beat Leeds 2-0 in the opening game of pre-season followed by a 1-0 win over Lyon. They recently beat Arsenal 2-0 in their most recent tie. The Red Devils are yet to concede a goal this pre-season tour.
Adidas also focused on the comfort part of the away kit. It features HEAT.RDY technology, which means players can stay cool and comfortable while playing. The kit is designed to wick away moisture and regulate body temperature.
