Man City vs Arsenal: The Premier League title race feels like it has never been closer. As Arsenal were on their way to end their 19-year Premier League drought, they seem to have hit a roadblock as they keep dropping points. Manchester City are now closer than they have ever been during this season to grab the title for themselves. Their star player Erling Haaland did not miss the opportunity to taunt their rival as he posted a short picture tweet. Follow Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Manchester City are not only chasing the Premier League title, but they are also looking forward to bring home the treble. Before their next Premier League match, they will face Sheffield United on Saturday for the FA Cup semi-final. If they manage to progress, they will next face either Brighton or Manchester United in the final.

In the Champions League, they face Real Madrid in the semi-final and if they progress, they will face either AC Milan or Inter Milan in the final. Even though, they still have a very tough road ahead, it seems, they are ready to take on any challenge, at least their star player is. Erling Haaland has become the Man City squad’s best player this season. After Arsenal drew against Southampton last night, Haaland quickly took to Twitter with the caption, “MOOD. STILL.” to taunt their faltering rival.

Arsenal had an 8-point lead over Manchester City at one point of this competition after playing one extra game. They were on to win the Premier League title for the first time since the 2003-04 season. However, all hopes seem to be fading away as Arsenal have now drawn in consecutively three matches against Liverpool, West Ham United, and Southampton.

After losing 6 points in three matches, Arsenal now have a 5-point gap from second-placed Manchester City while having played 2 extra matches. Both teams’ next Premier League match is against each other, which will become the title decider. To win the title, Arsenal will have to win the match at any cost, whereas Man City can get away with either a win or a draw.
