Rohan Bopanna is having a great time at Turin in the ATP Finals this year. The 43-year-old created history by becoming the oldest player to reach the semifinal in the tournament.
Bopanna along with his partner defeated second seeds Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski 6-4. 7-6 in their final group encounter on Friday. While he is playing a great brand of Tennis, he is also displaying his another ‘brand’ during the the tournament.
Much recently sports presenter Dani Klupenger posted a video with Rohan Bopanna on X (formerly Twitter). “I feel so honoured. The guy that makes history, makes coffee,” she says as Bopanna urges her to try out his coffee brand, ‘Rohan Bopanna’s Masterblend’. “It’s the best coffee you could ever have,” he adds.

The Tennis ace is an avid coffee-lover and has his family coffee estate in Coorg. Few years back he associated himself with Maverick and Farmer Coffee House in Bengaluru. This partnership helped create Rohan Bopanna’s Masterblend coffee, that is made with the coffee beans from Bopanna’s coffee estate.
Before creating this brand and turning into an entrepreneur, Bopanna had always carried coffee beans from his estate during his travels and had gifted it to fellow Tennis players.

Rohan Bopanna and his partner Matthew Ebden are the third seeds in the tournament. They began the tournament this year by losing to top seeds Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury.
However the third seeds made a comeback and defeated Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler 6-4, 6-4 in the second group encounter to keep their semifinal hopes alive. On Friday, they went on to defeat Skupski and Koolhof to make it to the semifinal.

It was Bopanna and Ebden’s 40th win of the season in the ATP Tour. It was also a historic achievement for the Indian as he became the oldest player to make it to the ATP Final semis. He celebrated the moment with his family and daughter soon after the match on Friday.
Bopanna and Ebden now have a chance to finish the year as the year-end World No.1 if they go on and win the title. They are likely to face either Santiago Gonzalez-Edouard Roger Vasselin or Marcel Granollers-Horacio Zeballos in the semifinal on Saturday.
