Logan Paul analyzed the $610 Million sale of Barstool
Recently, Penn Entertainment Inc. purchased Barstool Sports. The rest of Barstool Sports that Penn did not already own was purchased for around $388 million; the sports and entertainment giant had already purchased significant interests in the business in 2020 and now owns it entirely.
Paul raises concerns about recent rumours that Barstool might have made more money than they did and that they sold it for less than it was worth.
Portnoy replied, “I don’t really buy that at times I would have said that but not anymore. A lot of people fu****g talk and I’ve heard this through ever. It’s like you didn’t do this you could have made this, like dude I’m here like I’m feeling offers I know what’s coming in we met with fu*****g Draftkings before we met Penn they didn’t offer 100 Million.
He continued, “So it’s like great who has the check if you have the check where’s that check. When we sold the gambling industry was flying and them it’s like holy s*** we are probably worth billions. But it’s all come back down to earth. It’s a super competitive industry right now.”
