On the May 15th episode of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were all set to defend their titles against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. However, the match never took place, owing to an injury suffered by Liv Morgan.
It was announced that Morgan suffered the injury during a match against Damage CTRL, the previous week. Take a look at the injury video.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Vacated
Owing to Liv Morgan’s injury, the Women’s Tag Team Titles have been vacated.
However, WWE announced that on the May 29, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw, a Fatal-Four Way match will be held to crown the new WWE women’s Tag team champions.
The Fatal Four-Way match will take place between Raquel Rodriguez and a mystery partner, Bayley and IYO Sky, Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green.
While Liv Morgan has been out of action owing to the injury, her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez faced Chelsea Green in a singles bout on Monday Night Raw. Raquel defeated Green but was attacked by the returning Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler after her match.
However, now it is to be seen what happens when all the women battle each other to become the new Champions. Also, it will be really interesting to see who becomes the new partner of Raquel Rodriguez.
