Lionel Messi TRANSFER to Saudi could be CONFIRMED within days

Messi is leaving PSG as his contract ends on June 30. However, as per Barcelona coach Xavi, Leo Messi will decide on his next destination next week. He has offers from several clubs including Barcelona, Inter Miami, and Al-Hilal. The saudi club has also set a date on June 6th to announce Messi’s arrival.

Lionel Messi TRANSFER: Coach Christophe Galtier has recently confirmed that Leo Messi will be playing in a PSG shirt for the last time this weekend. It has also become public that Messi will decide on his next destination within the next week. His return to Barcelona is the most likely outcome. However, Saudi club Al-Hilal are not giving up easily. On top of offering the Argentine a humongous €500 million per season salary, they have also set a date to announce his arrival in the Middle East. Follow Football News Updates on InsideSport.IN.

A rumour spread a few weeks ago that Messi had already agreed to the €500+ million per season deal. However, his father and agent Jorge Messi denied it and said Messi will honour his contract with PSG and will only decide on his future after the season ends. Al-Hilal also denied that Messi had agreed to their terms. However, as per reports, now they have set a date of June 6th. This could be a message or deadline for the Argentine to give an answer to the offer so that they can announce his arrival on that date.

PSG will be facing Clermont Foot this weekend. This will be PSG’s last match of the season and will probably be the last match for several players, like Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, and Neymar. While ahead of the match, their coach Christophe Galtier already said, “I had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football. This will be his last match at the Parc des Princes, and I hope that he will receive the warmest of welcomes.”

Even though the coach agreed, PSG have still denied it. They have even included him in the promotional club clip for next season. However, it is now clear that Messi will be leaving as his contract with PSG ends on June 30. Neither Messi himself nor his entourage have confirmed his next destination. However, the Saudi club Al-Hilal have been relentless and have offered a salary of over €500 million per season. On the other hand, Barcelona have also been trying continuously to bring their ace back to Spain.

In the midst of this, the David Beckham co-owned MLS club Inter Miami have also shown a lot of interest in the player. It can be guessed that the most likely destination that Messi might choose for himself is Barcelona. However, they have the worst situation to bring the player. Their financial issues are what drove Messi out 2 years ago. Those issues also remain to be the sole hindrance to his comeback. La Liga have ordered Barcelona to cut down over €200 million from their wage bill.

Barcelona have come up with viability plans and presented them to La Liga. However, they are yet to receive the green signal. Xavi has still said that Barcelona want the World Cup winner back in Spain. He also said, “He [Messi] told me that next week he will make a decision and we have to leave him alone… Now there are 200 hypotheses. In the end, he will decide his future and here [in Barcelona] the doors are open, there is no more debate.”
