In order to consummate the transfer at the end of the current season, Hilal is reportedly offering Messi a record-breaking $ 300 million per season agreement. According to a different story, Lionel Messi’s father Jorge is allegedly in Riyadh meeting with Al-Hilal. Messi is thought to be receptive to the idea, despite recent rumours that he is close to signing a contract extension with PSG that would keep him there through 2024.

Messi wants to sign now rather than wait until the summer to join Al-Hilal, but the club is now prohibited from making additions until the following transfer window. According to The New Arab, Messi’s father has arrived in the Saudi capital to negotiate the possible move, which might lead to a resumption of his on-field rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Last month, Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr, a Saudi club, where he would earn £175 million annually. Messi would make a lot more money than Ronaldo if he accepted Al-offer Hilal’s and would once again have the opportunity to compete against his great rival.
