By defeating relegated Ajaccio 3-0 at home, Lens earned second place and automatic qualification for the Champions League the following season.

In the end, the draw benefited both clubs since it allowed Strasbourg to secure its place in the top division. Prior to the World Cup, PSG had a fantastic start to the season and did not drop a match in any tournament. However, it dropped six of its first 17 league games in 2023, fell to Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, and reached the same stage in the French Cup.
When his deal with PSG expires this summer, Lionel Messi will go. According to further reports, the 35-year-old has a Saudi Arabian bid for Messi and is aware that Inter Miami and Messi’s previous club Barcelona are both showing interest.
