Kohli, SKY missing as Rohit Sharma & Co meets DJ Bravo ahead of IND vs WI 3rd ODI

Rahul Dravid has stated that he will continue with experimentation in the 3rd ODI against West Indies

DJ Bravo: IND vs WI – Rohit Sharma & Co met Caribbean superstar Dwyane Bravo ahead of the third ODI in Trinidad. The former West Indies player came along with his son and greeted India captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Rahul Dravid, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Umran Malik, and others. While Kohli did not play the second ODI as he was rested, Surya has so far played both games. India will play the last ODI today, with aim to win the series 2-1. It remains to be seen if Kohli and Rohit Sharma play the match or if Dravid set to continue experimentation.

It is certain that Rohit will lead the team in Trinidad, but it is still not clear if Kohli will play. With India next playing Asia Cup on August 30 and main players like KL Rahul, Bumrah, and Shreyas Iyer set to return, the third ODI against Windies gives India another chance to try out different players.

Both Samson and Suryakumar have not got going in the ODI series, but Dravid stated he will try out a few players in the third ODI as well.

“Honestly, this was our last chance to try some of our players. We have got four of our players who are injured and are in the NCA. With days to go for the Asia Cup and then World Cup, we are kind of running out of time. We are hoping that some of them will be fit for the Asia Cup and the World Cup. But we can’t take those chances. We have to try out other people. And have to give them chances. So that in worst case scenario, they at least have game time behind them,” Rahul Dravid said after the 2nd ODI.
