UFC News: Renato Moicano overtook Conor McGregor in the lightweight rankings after defeating Brad Riddell through spectacular first-round submission at UFC 281. Later, the lightweight fighter ranked No. 13 challenged The Notorious to a duel. It didn’t matter, though, because Mcgregor was still recovering from his injury in 2021. He most recently tweeted about his prediction that former UFC fighter Kevin Lee would defeat Khamzat Chimaev, the 13th-ranked welterweight. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN
Kevin Lee wants to fight Khamzat Chimaev
Kevin Lee is willing to compete again in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The “Mo-Town Phenom” struggled throughout his seven-year tenure with the promotion. After losing to Daniel Rodriguez by a unanimous decision in August 2021, Lee left the UFC. Since then, he has recovered by defeating Diego Sanchez at 165 pounds in the Eagle Fighting Championship.
Khamzat Chimaev has suddenly appeared and established himself at the top of the Welterweight division since Lee’s UFC peak as a Lightweight contender. Chimaev said this week that he was having trouble finding a challenger, which prompted Lee to put his name in the running.
Kevin Lee tweet:
I will fight @KChimaev next. He won’t outwrestle me and I’ve never lost a first round. @ufc

Renato Moicano thinks Lee would beat Borz
Renato Moicano recently expressed a controversial opinion in a tweet. He predicted that former UFC fighter Kevin Lee would defeat Khamzat Chimaev.
Unpopular opinion… Kevin lee can beat chimaev!!! Prove me wrong… #ufc

Chimaev will need to decide which division he intends to fight in before returning to action. This is due to “Borz” missing 7.5 pounds at UFC 279 in September 2022, denying him a favorable matchup with UFC veteran Nate Diaz in the main event. He predicted that former UFC fighter Kevin Lee would defeat Khamzat Chimaev.
