Their fans have been debating on Twitter whether Khabib has a better Resume than UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski. After a fan claimed that Alexander Volkanovski had performed better than Khabib did in his entire career.

The fact that Nurmagomedov is unique among competitors in the sport due to his undefeated record is one of the main points in his favour. Others countered that although Volkanovski has lost one match in his professional career, it occurred when he competed outside of the UFC and in the welterweight class.
