Cricket West Indies has got yet another Indian brand on board as a sponsor for the home series against India.

India’s leading wires and cable brand KEI will be a Co-powered By sponsor for the West Indies-India One Day International and Test Series in the Caribbeans. As part of the deal, KEI Wires and Cables branding will be displayed on the field of play and peripheral LED boards during the games.

KEI Industries has always been supporting cricket in India for both national and international matches. I am delighted to announce our partnership with the upcoming India- West Indies series. Such partnerships strengthen our relationship with our customers and key stakeholders. In addition, this engagement will further help in exploring new market opportunities and spread the company’s branding in new market,” said KEI Industries director Akshit Diviaj Gupta.

India, enjoying a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match T20 International series against the West Indies, will also play three ODIs and two Tests on their month-long tour of the USA and the Caribbean Islands from August 3 to September 3.

The three-match ODI series will start on Thursday at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. The other two matches will be played at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, on August 8 and 11.

India will complete its Caribbean sojourn with the two-match Test series in Antigua. The first Test is scheduled at the Coolidge Cricket Ground from August 22 to 26 and the second at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from August 30 to September 3.

The touring party has also lined up a three-day practice match against the West Indies Cricket Board President’s XI for transition from limited overs cricket to the conventional, longer format of the game.

Indian brands are occupying the ground sponsorship space for Virat Kohli & Co.’s tour of the West Indies. The Cricket West Indies partner’s list for the month-long eight-match action included title sponsor MyTeam11, co-sponsored by partner Skoda and Fena detergent, Hero MotoCorp, mobile phone and electronics brand Xiaomi, Dalmia Cement and Shikhar Pan Masala.

The Kei Wires and Cables deal with Cricket West Indies is facilitated by Sporty Solutionz Private Limited and Alliance Advertising & Marketing Private Limited.
