Kamaru Usman wants to fight Khamzat Chimaev

In a recent video on ESPN MMA, Usman himself has expressed his willingness to take on the rising star, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown between two of the division’s most formidable fighters. Chimaev, boasts a flawless record of 12 wins and no losses. So fighting against him will be a strong test and if he wins he will be on track.

For me it’s now like I’m having fun so it’s like what’s the biggest funnest most intense fight that really makes me feel that. And you know that’s the fight there.

When Usman was asked about the weight class after showing his interest in facing Chimaev inside the octagon, he affirmed that his fighting spirit isn’t bound to weight categories. Usman has honed his skills with fighters from heavier divisions during training sessions, and if Chimaev desires a crack at the welterweight crown, he is willing to shed some pounds to demonstrate his mettle. As the MMA world eagerly awaits the outcome of this potential matchup, one thing is certain: Kamaru Usman will stop at nothing to defend his legacy as one of the greatest welterweights of all time.
