Jordan Neely Death: The city’s medical examiner revealed on Wednesday night that the death of a New York City underground rider who was put in a chokehold by another passenger on Monday was determined to be a homicide. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

When the other passenger wrapped his arms around Mr Neely’s neck and head and held him for several minutes until he went limp, Mr Neely, who was homeless and yelling at other passengers, had already passed out. The chokehold caused Mr Neely to suffer compression to his neck, according to Julie Bolcer, a spokesman for the medical examiner.

The man is seen choking while clutching Jordan Neely’s neck in the viral video.  Jordan Neely was fatally choked on the New York tube last week, and now that Neely’s murder has been classified a homicide by the city’s top medical examiner, protesters and lawmakers are asking for the man’s arrest.

According to the New York Police Department, Neely, a 30-year-old Black man, was screaming and acting erratically on an F-train car when he was put in a chokehold by a 24-year-old White male passenger. Neely can be seen thrashing his arms and kicking his legs in the event video as he tries to free himself before losing consciousness.

Jake Shields posted on his Twitter saying “he fucked around and found out”.

“Jordan Neely was a violent criminal with over 40 arrests but he harassed the wrong man and ended up dead”.

After the incident was declared a homicide on Wednesday, locals and critics urged the 24-year-old man to be charged. “Justice for Jordan Neely!” was shouted by protesters as they gathered in the Broadway-Lafayette subway station on Wednesday, the scene of the 30-year-old man’s murder. At the tube station, a column had four words scrawled on it: “Who killed Jordan Neely?”
