Likewise, he discussed the upcoming movie Cocaine Bear, which is based on a true story, and he dived in about the incident in a conversation with B-Real during the recent podcast. Joe Rogan Cocaine Bear: UFC Color Commentator opened up about the Cocaine Bear and the effects of PCP
During the podcast, B-Real questioned Rogan about whether he was familiar with the movie about the cocaine bear and informed him that the bear had died from a heart attack after using narcotics in real life.
To which Rogan replied, “I think that was a rumor. I mean it probably overdosed. I mean if you’re eating coke and you’re Bear, you eat a lot. Like how much coke is that? I bet they enjoyed the experience, I bet it feels good once you start getting high from that coke. You’re like oh this is great and then you’re bear you’re glutton so you’re just diving in there eating the whole bag.”
Later in the episode, Rogan learned that the bear absorbed 3–4 grams of drugs and that his stomach was packed with them. The UFC commentator had then wondered how his last day would be when he consumed cocaine, as his heart, eyes, and entire body must have experienced the worst kind of sensation at once, sending him on a drug-fueled frenzy.
Effects of PCP and Why Rogan will miss UFC 284?
Rogan continued the topic by asking B-Real if PCP (phencyclidine, a harmful drug) makes users aggressive given that ketamine calms you down. In order to answer that question, he read about a PCP user who killed an officer by uprooting a tree and throwing its eight-foot stake at the police before shooting the officer to death. Reading that Rogan and B-Real were shocked by the effects of PCP.

Rogan added, “Imagine if we had MMA but you can take pcp, you can take whatever drug you want. Dudes do weird sh** before they PR they drink. Sometimes guys do shots of whiskey and do deadlifts. Just something that gave them woah (energies).”
Rogan concluded by saying that it’s possible PCP doesn’t make you powerful; rather, it merely puts a user in a crazy condition where they can execute something beyond their limits because they’re so hyped up. Meanwhile, speaking of Rogan and the UFC, he will be missed in the most recent event, UFC 284, as it will be in Australia and Rogan has stopped commenting on international events.
