Crazy Raccoon stated on Twitter that its whole VALORANT lineup for 2021 has been cut. Prior to the 2022 competitive season, the Japanese esports organization plans to fully reorganize and remodel its squad. Teams from all around the world have upgraded their VALORANT rosters in preparation for the forthcoming season in order to have the best chance of capturing the Champion’s title. Many teams have merely cut one or two players, but others, such as Crazy Raccoon, have made more significant adjustments.

Hideki Fisker Sasaki, Daiki Minty Kato, An Medusa Min-cheol, Park Bazzi Jun-ki, and coach Yusuke mun Ota all left Crazy Raccoon today. Neth is the only Crazy Raccoon on the squad who has participated at the VALORANT Champions before. Munchkin was released earlier this month, and ade took over as the organization’s leader. Since the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Three Japanese Challengers Playoff, Minty hasn’t played in an official match.
Crazy Raccoon was able to hold a position in the upper echelons of Japanese VALORANT for a long time thanks to various lineup iterations. The arch-nemesis of ZETA DIVISION, best known for their regular presence in three out of three international LANs this year (Masters 2 Reykjavik, Masters 3 Berlin, and VALORANT Champions), were unable to repeat the same level of success in the home scene.

Though Japanese representatives in the VCT have exhibited flashes of brilliance, the organisations have plainly suffered. Following their losses as Masters Berlin, Zeta Division put a halt to their VALORANT roster in order to focus on the following year. Given that Crazy Raccoon has decided to overhaul his entire roster, it suggests that Japan is trying to improve as a region in the next years.
