The initial eight-round deal was recently extended by the two parties, making this the longest battle in Paul and Diaz’s respective careers.

The YouTuber, who went into the competition as a huge favourite, lost for the first time in his career due to a split decision. Paul requested an immediate rematch with “TNT,” but he first had to take care of business with Nate Diaz. After defeating Tony Ferguson in September, the Stockton slugger quit the UFC and immediately set his sights on the boxing ring.
The two will now square off in August on a DAZN pay-per-view. The length of the fight has been a hot topic leading up to the event. Diaz asked for ten rounds instead of eight, and Paul, to his credit, complied.

Others said ‘The Problem Child’ needed several tries before he could upload his film, while some suggested that perhaps cigarettes would be harmful to his goal.
One thing is certain, though: Jake’s opponent is not new to smoking and is extremely outspoken about his love of marijuana, so it’s possible that this is a jab at Diaz. In less than a month, the fight will take place in Dallas, giving Jake’s lungs some time to rest before he steps into the ring at American Airlines Centre.
