This is a huge achievement for Indian football as Akash Misra becomes the second player to get his name on this list after ATK Mohun Bagan star Hugo Boumous appeared in the Team of the Week 15 (TOTW 15). The players in the team of the week are selected only by assessing the players’ performance in that entire week. Akash Mishra was superb as the Nizams have been in sensational form this season. The youngster scored twice in the last two matches against Odisha FC and NorthEast United. Mishra’s defensive abilities have also improved a lot since last season and he is gradually becoming a complete footballer in his role.
