The AIFF Disciplinary Committee is all set to fine ₹50,000 from Prabir Das for his action but luckily the ATK Mohun Bagan defender escapes a further ban. Therefore the defender will be available for ATK Mohun Bagan’s remaining matches this season.

The Committee held a discussion among themselves and decided that an automatic one-match ban due to the red card was enough for his actions. Therefore they decided to not further add more to his suspension.
The match between ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters saw tempers flaring as both teams understood the gravity of the game. Despite leading the game till the final minute. Green and Maroon midfielder Joni Kauko came up with a long-range stunner to restore parity and salvage a point for the Mariners who looked down and out after a brilliant brace from Adrian Luna.
The late equaliser saw ATK Mohun Bagan dugout jump in joy and some people had some interaction with the people in their opposition dugout. Kerala Blasters forward Jorge Pereyra Diaz had a clash with ATK Mohun Bagan assistant coach Bastab Roy as both men received a red card and were sent off.
Diaz returned to action for Kerala Blasters in their last match against Chennaiyin FC. Diaz announced his come back with a brilliant brace as they defeated the Marina Machans 3-0 to add three more points in the bag. It was a crucial win for the Yellow Army after their defeat against Hyderabad FC.
Meanwhile, Harmanjot Khabra’s actions have also landed him in trouble. The veteran defender hearing with the Disciplinary Committee has been set for Tuesday, March 1. Khabra is also charged with similar actions as Prabir Das, in their recent match against Hyderabad FC. He was shown a yellow card and was not handed any major punishment. Harmanjot Khabra has apologised for his actions in a written document to the committee.
