Mumbai City FC:
This season’s first side to make the playoffs, Mumbai City FC, has proved impossible to play against. The Islanders are seeking to finish first with four games remaining since doing so will guarantee them not just a position in the playoffs but also the League Winners Shield. They will also strive to become the first team in their league to go a complete season undefeated.
Hyderabad FC also book their place in the #HeroISL playoffs along with Mumbai City FC🔥

ISL 2022-23 Playoffs Race: Mumbai City FC, Hyderabad FC secure confirmed spots, ATK Mohun almost through, Indian Super League heats up – Check how other teams can qualify
Hyderabad FC:
Both Mumbai and Hyderabad have qualified for the playoffs, and both teams will be vying for a top-two finish to advance straight to the semifinals. Manolo Marquez’s team needs nine points from their next five games to guarantee a spot in the semifinals, even if it is unlikely they would position outside the top-two.

Kerala Blasters:
Both Mumbai and Hyderabad have qualified for the playoffs, and both teams will be vying for a top-two finish to advance straight to the semifinals. Manolo Marquez’s team needs nine points from their next five games to guarantee a spot in the semifinals, even if it is unlikely they would position outside the top-two.
ATK Mohun Bagan:
The ISL’s most successful squad is currently in fourth place and needs eight points to advance to the round of 16. One of their five games entails a trip to Jamshedpur, a struggling team, and home games against Bengaluru and Kerala Blasters, teams that ATK has defeated on the road.
Chennaiyin FC:
Chennaiyin FC still has a chance. However, in order for that wish to come true, they must start winning, which they haven’t been able to achieve for 45 days [D, L, D, D, D]. Under Thomas Brdaric, Chennaiyin are without a doubt playing their greatest football, but they have yet to develop that killer instinct in front of goal. Since hammering seven past NorthEast United on December 10, they have only scored five goals in as many games.

FC Goa:
With four challenging games remaining, including a visit from the unbeaten and prolific Mumbai City FC, the Gaurs have recovered their form just in time.
Odisha FC:
Of the seven clubs still in the running for the playoffs, Josep Gombau’s team has the arguably easier schedule. Odisha will wrap up their league season with a trip to the North East before meeting Jamshedpur at home after hosting Goa and Hyderabad. They should remain in sixth place with six points from their last two games.
Bengaluru FC
Bengaluru FC has won four of their previous five games, peaking at the ideal time to keep them in the running. However, out of all the other playoff contenders, Simon Grayson’s club has the toughest schedule of games. The Blasters, Mumbai City, and Goa will be hosted by Bengaluru after traveling to Kolkata to take on ATKMB. To sneak into the knockout rounds, the Blues will need their supporters to support them in their fortress.

East Bengal FC:
East Bengal still has a mathematical possibility of placing in the top six despite having only won four games. They will need to defeat Odisha, Bengaluru, and Chennaiyin in every one of their remaining five games, which is a very unlikely feat.
Jamshedpur FC:
The present condition of the defending shield champions are as shocking as it is. Winning all the remaining games, the Red Miner would not accumulate enough points to make it to the semis. They are in the penultimate position of the table from the bottom with just nine points from 15 games.
NorthEast United FC:
While it is a season to forget for NoethEast United FC, Vincenzo Annese is an exceptional manager. He presided over their first win of the year, a miraculous victory over ATKMB, and then saw his team justly earn a point against Goa. Wilmar Jordan’s two penalties added a dash of luck, but NorthEast deserve some good fortune following a miserable campaign.
