The Guinean defender’s apparent move to Kolkata will see Mohun Bagan heavily bolster their lineup for the upcoming season. Though the Green and Maroon brigade is yet to make an official announcement, however, FC Sochaux has confirmed that the deal is done. Florentin Pogba had a 1 year remaining on his contract. He has left Sochauz after serving 2 years at the Ligue 2 side.

In terms of recruiting foreigners, Mohun Bagan recently roped in 29-year-old defender Brendan Hamill from Melbourne Victory. With Pogba joining the ranks, he will be looking to form a formidable partnership with the Australian. It can be speculated that Florentin Pogba could be the replacement of Tiri who has been ruled out for around 7-9 months after tearing his ACL.
