Not just this record but Jaiswal achieved another milestone as he scored the second highest number of runs gathered in the first over of IPL. Facing Rana in the first over, Jaiswal smoked two back to back maximums on the first two deliveries. He then did the same but this time he stroked two fours. Feeling the pressure, Rana bowled a fullish quick delivery which was tucked for a brace. Jaiswal managed to find another four on the last ball making it 26 runs in the first over of KKR skipper Rana.

Jaiswal eventually fell short of his second IPL hundred by just 2 runs. Needing 3 to win and him being on 94, the left-handed batter required a maximum but he only managed to play a sweep shot to collect a four. Skipper Sanju Samson also played an excellent cameo of 48 runs with the Royals beating the home side by 9 wickets and move ahead in the points table.
