Sunrisers Hyderabad has bagged Harry Brook for INR 13.25 Crore, Ben Stokes next on target. Sunrisers Hyderabad will target Ben Stokes during the IPL 2023 auction as they search for a new skipper. SRH released Kane Williamson before the auction to generate more funds. With Rs 42.25 crore in the auction purse, SRH will look to fill four overseas slots with top names. The team is in a better position to buy Stokes during the auction. Besides finding the captain slot, SRH will also target a wicketkeeper and a couple of spinners as well.

With a price tag of 13.25 Crores, Harry Brook now becomes the highest-priced player for SRH. The 23-year-old who got his T20I debut this year has been fantastic so far. The English batter played 20 games in the shortest format of the game where he managed to score 372 runs with a solitary fifty. The youngster will look to fire up the IPL after boasting of having a healthy strike rate of 137.8
