Wayne Parnell IPL Stats
Parnell’s base bid of 75 lakhs was not enough to sell him at the IPL 2023 auction.
The South African bowler Parnell can swing the new ball and bowl in the dying stages, making him a crucial asset to any T20 team. The 33-year-old has a tonne of experience in the international T20 tournaments and can also contribute with the bat.
Following the end of the Kolpak era, Wayne Parnell returned for the South African side and has performed admirably for the National team. In addition to playing well for Pretoria Capitals in the just completed SA20 League, where he led his club to the final before losing to Sunrisers Eastern Cape, he has been in superb form for the Proteas.
Praneel has played for IPL teams like Delhi Daredevils and Pune Warriors in the past.
He has played 26 games in the IPL thus far, taking 26 wickets at an average of 26.96 and 7.35 with his economy rate.
Although he has not been as steady for his side, Parnell has had a respectable IPL career.
