However, some social media users are trolling Red and Gold Army saying that this is the only thing they can celebrate, as RCB hadn’t won the IPL yet. According to a report by sports management firm Deportes & Finanzas, RCB was the 5th most popular sports teams in terms of interaction on Instagram in 2022. The first in this list was Real Madrid with 2.10B. FC Barcelona was second with 1.78B, Manchester United with 1.40B is third, PSG is fourth with 1.07B, and then RCB with 948M.

A Twitter user posted about the Royal Challengers banglore. This tweet gone viral with over 300,000 views. Fans have dropped interesting comments under this tweet. Some RCB fans are going crazy over the report. One RCB fan wrote, “Winning trophies is not important. Winning hearts is. And RCB is the most perfect example of that.”

On the other hand, another Twitter user trolled RCB fans over the fact that the team hadn’t won the IPL yet. Fan wrote, “To all CSK nd MI fans plz leave them alone this is the only thing that they can celebrate since IPL.”

While one fan seems to be confused about whether Instagram popularity is the right parameter to judge a cricket team. He wrote, “Do you think instagram popularity is a right parameter to judge a cricket team. I mean its good for business but is it good for cricket ????”

RCB had revealed the list of players they have retained for the upcoming season of IPL. Three-time runners-up have chosen to back its core group of players.
