IPL 2023 – Suresh Raina IPL Retirement: Mr. IPL Suresh Raina has decided to say GOODBYE to Indian Premier League (IPL). Raina will not only hang his boots for IPL but will also not play any more domestic cricket. Raina himself confirmed the devlopment via his social handles. According to Raina, he has informed about his decision to Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) and the BCCI. “I have informed both UPCA and BCCI Sec Jay Shah about my decision. Now I am free to play any of the foreign league”, declared Suresh Raina.
It is being reported that Raina will be seen in action in forthcoming Road Safety World Series.

Suresh Raina has been a great servant to CSK over the years and recently was seen wearing a CSK kit during a nets session on Monday.
The former India international was left out in IPL 2022 when he was not retained by CSK ahead of the mega auction. But what surprised everyone was when CSK didn’t approach to buy Raina during the auction.
Adding to his misery, none of the other teams too opted to go for Raina in IPL 2022.

Now it is being reported that Raina has taken retirement from IPL.
What will be Raina’s NEXT MOVE? Raina is in talks with various foreign T20 leagues. He can either play in Cricket South Africa SAT20 League or Emirates Cricket ILT20 League. According to sources quoted by the report, Raina is in talks with both the leagues.
It is worth noting that – BCCI doesn’t allow any current or former cricketer to play in any of the GLOBAL Leagues until or unless the said player has not take retirement from all forms of cricket.
Now with RAINA retiring from IPL & Domestic cricket – he is free to participate in these foreign leagues.
