1. Kuldeep Sen (RR)

Rajasthan Royals pacer Kuldeep Sen impressed everyone with his bowling antics in IPL 2022. The right-arm pacer scalped eight wickets in seven games. RR who prefer to go with just five specialist bowlers can use Kuldeep as an impact player. He can replace Riyan Parag in the squad who gave away 11 runs per over in his bowling. If Parag’s services are not required with the bat, then Rajasthan can add Kuldeep to have a cushion in the bowling department.

2. Mukesh Choudhary (CSK)

In the absence of Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Choudhary did a splendid job with the new ball. With Deepak probably returning to the CSK camp for the upcoming edition, Choudhary can be given a try as an impact player. Both Deepak and Mukesh can bowl in tandem with the new ball if conditions are favorable for the seam bowling.

3. Shahrukh Khan (PBKS)

Despite not having best of the time in IPL, PBKS have restored their faith in Shahrukh Khan. The right-handed batter has the ability to hit some mighty blows. Especially, towards the end of an innings. Shahrukh can be roped in as an impact player towards the death overs and try to end PBKS innings with a flourish of boundaries.

4. Abhinav Manohar (GT)

GT batter Abhinav Manohar surprised everyone with his hitting abilities in IPL 2022. In 8 games played last season, Abhinav scored 108 at an average of 18 in 7 innings but with a healthy strike rate of 144. His strike rate is what will matter the most to the Gujarat Titans, who can use him in the role of a finisher.

5. Varun Chakravarthy (KKR)

During the two IPL competitions in 2020 and 2021, Varun Chakravarthy was a revelation for the KKR team. The mystery spinner spun a web around the batters and was amongst the wickets. However, he failed to replicate his performance in IPL 2022.He only managed to take 6 wickets at an economy of 8.51 in 11 matches during IPL 2022, and his performance was much below average. However, KKR can make very good use of the new Impact Player Rule On Varun Chakravarthy, making him bowl his 4 overs and then substitute him for another player.

6. Amit Mishra (LSG)

Amit Mishra was purchased by Lucknow Super Giants for his base price of INR 50 lakhs. Meanwhile, a domestic coach who has worked closely with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir revealed LSG’s plan for Mishra.

Amit Mishra is a fantastic call by Gautam and his coaching staff. Look, you don’t need to check his skills as he is among the top three wicket-takers of all time in IPL. Yes, he is 40 years, isn’t the best of fielders and can’t hit sixes at the end. But now you don’t need to keep him in the playing XI for the entire duration,” said a domestic coach, who has closely worked with Gambhir.”

7. Piyush Chawla (MI)

Just like LSG, the five time-champions Mumbai Indians bagged the services of another veteran spinner Piyush Chawla. 8. Ishant Sharma (DC)

Delhi Capitals bagged the services of Ishant Sharma in IPL Auction. The veteran pacer was sold for his base price of INR 50 lakhs. Sharma who has the ability to swing the new ball by a decent margin, can be a perfect candidate for the impact player rule. The right-arm pacer has a total of 72 wickets in 93 games.

9. Abdul Samad (SRH)

SRH paid 4 crores to buy the services of Samad in the previous season. However, after his first season, he did not get to play too many matches in the second season. He played two games and scored just one run. Given that he is a hard-hitter of the cricket ball, he can be used as an ‘Impact Player’ and as a finisher by SRH. That will allow him to play at his best.

10. Avinash Singh (RCB)

Avinash Singh Manhas hailing from Jammu and Kashmir was purchased at a cost of INR 60 lakhs by RCB.
