1. Shivam Mavi – Base Price: Rs 40 Lakh

With a base price of Rs 40 lakh, pacer Shivam Mavi will certainly be a hot favorite pick for many franchises going into the IPL 2023 auction. He can bowl at a pace in excess of 140 km/h, has a good bouncer, and also has the experience of playing in a cash-rich league. In the last IPL, the Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs 7.25 crore, but his performance wasn’t up to the mark. He was released by the KKR management as he could take only five wickets from six matches.

A major reason was due to injuries, but since then he has recovered well and been Uttar Pradesh’s lead pacer in the domestic circuit. There is always demand for Indian fast bowlers in the IPL, and that can work in his favor.

2. Yash Thakur – Base Price: Rs 20 Lakh

A 23-year-old right-arm pacer from Vidarbha, Yash Thakur has impressed one and all with his accuracy in death overs. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament, he picked up 15 wickets in 10 matches and registered an economy of 7.17. The fact that he is young, raw and a long term prospect, many franchises would be interested in Thakur’s talent. Recently, he was a part of Punjab Kings as a net bowler.

The 28-year-old hard hitting batter from Himachal Pradesh – Akash Vasisht dreams of playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
