A total of 21 players have listed their base price at the maximum of Rs 2 crore for the IPL auction as per ESPNCricinfo. However, for the first time ever, no Indian player is part of the Rs 2 crore bracket. Ben Stokes, Cameron Green and Sam Curran are in the bracket, with a bidding war expected for the all-rounders on December 23.

Former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson also has listed a Rs 2 crore base price. Meanwhile, his ex-SRH teammate Nicholas Pooran has also commanded a Rs 2 crore asking price. Other prominent names include Jason Holder (released by LSG), Jimmy Neesham, Rilee Rossouw and Rassie van der Dussen.

Earlier, all 10 franchises announced their retentions on November 15. Some big names such as Kane Williamson, Nicholas Pooran and Mayank Agarwal were all let go by their franchises. A total of 163 players were retained, opening up 87 new slots for the auction.
