IPL 2023: PBKS fragile middle order receives Livingstone boost, England all-rounder set to be named in the playing XI

In their last game, PBKS’s middle order crumbled against SRH as none of the batters failed to cross 25. If not for Shikhar Dhawan, PBKS would have been shot down below 100. With Livingstone back, PBKS’s middle order will look strong. The right-hand batter has the ability to win matches singlehandedly owing to his attack style of batting.

In IPL 2022, the English batter was a revelation scoring 437 runs in 14 games. Livingstone also scored 34 sixes, proving he is the biggest six-hitter going around the world. Apart from his batting prowess, the right-hand batter is also a pretty handy option with his slow bowling.

IPL 2023: Who will Livingstone replace in playing XI against GT?

Sikandar Raza is likely to face the axe as the Zimbabwe player has failed to get going with bat and ball in hand. Raza has managed to score only 22 runs in three games and has picked up a solitary wicket. Livingstone is likely to play at number five role, a position he excelled in IPL 2022 season for PBKS. The Shikhar Dhawan-led side have played three games, winning two and losing one against SRH.
