IPL 2023, LSG vs CSK: The speedster Jaydev Unadkat of the Lucknow Super Giants has been ruled out for the rest of the Indian Premier League 2023. The Saurashtra skipper sustained a left shoulder injury on Sunday while working out in the nets. This is a big blow for LSG, who is already suffering from the captain KL Rahul injury scare. The Lucknow team will be without services of Unadkat and Rahul in today’s clash with MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Despite this injury hurdle, Unadkat will be ready for the WTC Final 2023 against Australia, which will begin on June 7 at The Oval, ESPNcricinfo has learned. While KL Rahul participation in IND vs AUS clash at Oval is under huge doubt.

What Happened to Jaydev Unadkat?
On Sunday, when Unadkat prepared to throw his first ball in the Lucknow nets, he ran in from behind the wicket and got his left foot caught in the rope holding the net up. He fell hard and hurt his bowling elbow. While still on the ground, he gripped his left shoulder.
Shortly after, he was spotted with his arm in a sling and an ice pack on his shoulder.
See you back on the field soon @JDUnadkat

Unadkat reportedly came to Mumbai for scans and met with a specialist consultant hired by the BCCI.
Super Giants made the decision to have Unadkat leave the IPL after consulting with the board’s medical team.
He is anticipated to travel to Bengaluru’s NCA for rehabilitation in order to get healthy enough to travel to England for the WTC final versus Australia.
KL Rahul update still not available
Unadkat’s injury occurred the same day as KL Rahul’s, who suffered a right leg injury while pursuing a ball in the outfield during the second over of Monday night’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rahul’s scan results and the severity of the injuries are still pending.
In the three IPL games this season, Unadkat failed to pick up a wicket, and in the eight overs he has bowled, he has allowed 92 runs to score.
