David Warner
IPL 2016 winning captain David Warner had a horrible episode with Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021. He is likely to be purchased as a skipper option by a number of IPL franchises. Warner received a lump sum salary of Rs 12.5 crore with SRH. His price is expected to surge after his Man of the tournament award in the T20 World Cup. Warner is the highest overseas run-scorer in IPL with 5400+ runs. He has led 69 IPL matches and won 35 games with a win percentage of 52.17.

He was last purchased for Rs 15.5 crore by KKR.
Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes might have said no to England Test captaincy but stays vital to IPL. He can be bought for a leadership role after a sensational white-ball career. He comes with an experience of 43 matches with 920 runs & 28 wickets in his kitty.
Mayank Agarwal
Punjab Kings most prized retention Mayank Agarwal could lead the franchise in IPL 2022. He had fetched Rs 12 crore in retentions, 12 times rise in his IPL salary. The development hinted towards PBKS looking forward to making him skipper for the next IPL cycle. He has experience playing 100 IPL games.
