Imran Tahir: The 42-year-old South African played just a single game in IPL 2021 where he picked 2 wickets. However, owing to his age he is likely to be bought by any of the teams this year.
Imran Tahir might not find a team in IPL 2022
Ajinkya Rahane: The Indian batter played just 2 games in IPL 2021 and ended up scoring just 8 runs. He has also been extremely poor while performing for his country in both home and away test series and thus could miss finding a team in IPL 2022.
Eoin Morgan: The former captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders had a horror of a season in IPL 2021 going by his standards. he scored 133 runs in 17 innings with an average of 11.08. Such performance and his recent dip in form can be the reason for him going unsold in IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
Amit Mishra: Mishra played just 4 matches last season where he scalped 6 wickets with a good average of 18.16. However, lack of game time and his age can be possibly lead the 39-year-old spinner to not find a team in 2022.
Ishant Sharma: The Lanky 33-year-old pacer has found himself away from the white-ball format from the Nation team for quite a few years. However, he often performs well in test matches. Last season in IPL he played just 3 games where he picked a solitary wicket and thus earned a staggering average of 97.00. Lack of game time and inconsistent performance will surely lead Ishant to not find a team in 2022.
Ishant will find it very hard to find a team in IPL 2022Kedar Yadav: The 36-year-old al-rounder had a poor season in IPL 2021. Out of the 6 matches he played, he could only score 55 runs and thus achieved a disappointingly low average of 13.75. This lack of match time and poor form will be crucial for him not finding a team next season.
Piyush Chawla: Piyush Chawla will find it very hard to find a team in IPL 2022 over his increasingly low game times. He played 7 games in IPL 2020 and in this following season just a single game, in which he ended up picking a wicket. With a salary of 2.40 Cr, no team would be interested in buying the 33-year-old spinner.
Jaydev Unadkat: Unadkat faded away as fast as he entered the IPL scene. Having played just 6 games last season with 4 wickets and a high average of 42.00, no team would make a gamble of buying the 3.00 Cr pacer.
Kusal Perera: The Sri Lankan batter has often been plagued with injuries and fitness issues, and thus the 31-year-old will find t quite hard to find a team in 2022.
Ben Cutting: The 34-year-old Australian all-rounder has been in terrible form this year. He has scored 137 runs in 10 innings and has picked 1 wicket in 8 innings in the ongoing Big Bash League. Looking at his form and stats, no team would want to buy him for IPL 2022.
