In a video shared by Mumbai Indians on social media, Jasprit Bumrah could be seen toiling hard in the nets as he prepares for the rigours of the IPL 2022 season which kicks off on March 26. One of the finest bowlers in world cricket right now, Bumrah will have eyes on the purple cap, especially with a T20World Cup on the horizon later this year.
The Mumbai Indians spearhead finished third in the purple cap race last season, with Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan leading the charts with 32 and 24 wickets respectively. Bumrah will be keen to show he is not far behind and win perhaps his maiden purple cap in the tournament. Watch video here:
