Gujarat Titans (1st, 18 Points): Hardik Pandya & Co demolished Lucknow Super Giants with a 62-run victory to retake the lead in the standings. Standing at the pole with 18 points, GT became the first team to officially qualify for the playoffs.
- GT has Officially qualified for the Playoffs with 9 wins.
- They will now aim for a top-two finish in the league

Lucknow Super Giants (2nd, 16 Points): Lucknow Super Giants experienced a shocking hammering from Gujarat Titans and slipped to the second spot. LSG will need to buckle up and go for a win in their next game. All they need to do now is to win a match out of the remaining 3 to QUALIFY for playoffs.
- Win at least one match out of 2 to seal qualification.
- If they lose the remaining two badly, they will still qualify if other results go their way.
- 18-point mark is the safe bet while teams can qualify with 16 points as well.

Rajasthan Royals (3rd, 14 Points): Sanju Samson’s RR side remained on third spot after their 8-wicket defeat to Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. But they still remain in contention. If they win two remaining matches, they will seal the deal and can even aim for Top 2 finish.
- RR need to win two in two remaining matches to seal their deal.
- RR can also qualify with 16 points or one win in two games but they will need to maintain a better NRR while also beat CSK in the last match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (4th, 14 Points): Faf du Plessis’ Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a disappointing 54-run defeat vs Punjab Kings meaning they go into the final game of the season with 14 points on board. A win would boost RCB’s chances but a loss would see them compete with the others for the final slot.
- RCB need to win their last match of the season to remain in playoff contention
- RCB can qualify without a win in their last game but other results will have to go their way.

- SRH will also have to improve their NRR which took a hit after RCB thrashing.

Punjab Kings (6th, 12 Points): Punjab Kings boosted their qualification hopes with a thumping win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday. The 54-run win also saw their net run rate go over to the positive side, further pushing their chances to make the playoffs.
- PBKS have to win all two remaining matches.
- PBKS will look to further improve their NRR which stands at 0.023
- Two wins in three matches or 14 points won’t be enough for them to qualify.

Delhi Capitals (5th, 12 Points): Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets in a must-win match on Wednesday. The win kept them afloat in the Playoff Race. But they will need to win the last two games to make it 16 points and hope RCB and SRH lose their games.
- DC need to win all two matches to seal playoff berth.
- DC will also have to improve their NRR which took a hit.
- A loss and a win won’t cut it for DC.
- DC will also hope that SRH and RCB lose at least one of their games.

Kolkata Knight Riders (7th, 10 Points): Shreyas Iyer & Co’s playoffs hopes are hanging on a thread after KKR registered a 52-run win against Mumbai Indians. KKR will need to win their remaining matches by a big margin.
- KKR need to win all of their 2 remaining matches.
- Even after winning all their games, they can reach a maximum of 14 points.
- With three teams locked in at 10 points each and three other teams above that mark, 14 points will not be enough to qualify.

- Even if MI win all of their remaining 2 matches, they will not be able to qualify as they will score only 10.
- The cut-off for 10-team IPL is likely to be 16 while teams on 14 points can also qualify based on NRR.
